WHAT IS ROLLER DERBY?
Roller Derby is the fastest growing teamsport at the moment. It’s a very fast, strategic game, played on an oval track – on quad rollerskates. The player with the star on the helmet is called the “jammer”. The jammer scores points by skating laps and passing “blockers” of the opposing team. The blockers will try to prevent this by using hip-, shoulder- and bodychecks!
